This video was played directly before the main events of the Bryan Opportunity Scholarship fundraising dinner at the at the Chattanooga Convention Center in 2023. I performed and edited the VO and shot/edited all of the included footage (including the animation at 2"20).

This video was one of the largest single projects I had worked on until this point. It involved a total of around 150 man hours across eight people: measuring and scaling the real life buildings the gingerbread models were based on, constructing the base models the ginger bread pieces were attached to, working around our set's limited space and lighting, along with all the regular writing, pre-production, filming, and editing. The entire process should have likely taken much longer, but our hand was forced when our lead actress came down with the flu the evening before our day to shoot all of our principal photography. Because of the timing, she would also not be available again until the day before the final draft was due. After I received the news, I worked to rewrite our script and reorganize and streamline our shot list. Once that was finished and our plans were set, we worked to capitalize on every moment we were afforded. The result was one of the fastest 26 hours I have ever experienced: from 5:30 AM until 8 AM the next day, we filmed all of our remaining shots, recorded a new voice over script I wrote for this new version, and edited the entire project including color, audio, and graphics.

A few weeks later, we learned that Bryan's Giving Tuesday for that year had been their most successful in their history.
